Had a fun night! The family suite was cozy, and the breakfast was on point—especially the coffee. The staff were super friendly, which made our stay even better. The only issue was, there were some noisy pipes from the room next door.

fantastic proximity to the duomo and vibrant local eateries
I really loved how easy it was to walk to the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the many wonderful bars and restaurants nearby, making my city strolls so relaxing and enjoyable, especially since it’s just about 500 meters from the Duomo square which truly added to my stay's charm. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the cozy atmosphere and the readiness of my room upon my early arrival after a long journey, but the hotel does need a bit of a refresh on its furnishings to enhance comfort.

would happily go back again
Admired the fantastic location, just 5 mins from the Duomo. The breakfast featured yummy pastries and quality coffee. My double room had air conditioning, a walk-in shower, and a minibar. The staff was super nice and helpful, and the place was really tidy. Enjoyed the cool vintage decor and spacious common areas too.

The room was spacious and comfortable, ideal for a family. Its location was fantastic, close to many attractions but still quiet. Breakfast was plentiful with freshly baked bread and a good selection of pastries, making mornings delightful. However, the air conditioning in the room was ineffective, and the basic decor left much to be desired. The staff were friendly and helpful with local recommendations.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the Duomo and other attractions. I enjoyed the ample breakfast options and found the staff to be quite welcoming during my stay. However, the furniture in the room was quite old and had a damp smell, which was a bit off-putting.

historic piazza location, powerful hot shower, local dining options
Noise levels inside the hotel were quite bothersome!!! Renovations on outdated room decor desperately needed!!! Also, a lack of proper bathroom amenities like shower curtains can really dampen the experience!!!

The culinary scene here is a real treat! I had an octopus millefeuille that blew my mind—seriously, who knew octopus could be so tender? Plus, the hotel’s proximity to gems like Pizzeria e Focacceria Itaco and Cuore Caffe is a definite win for food lovers.
Okay, so the furniture was pretty old and had this damp smell that wasn’t exactly inviting. The bed? Let’s just say two odd beds shoved together wasn’t a great setup—they kept separating like they weren’t even friends.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
